Chemistry: Conceptualized Introductory Activities

This course is a series of eight NGSS-aligned activities that present conceptual information in the context of a real-world scenarios. The activities include many formative problems, which include hints and feedback to help scaffold learning. Virtual lab activities are incorporated throughout to help students to foster an understanding of the chemistry concepts, as well as, learn to design and carry out experiemnts.

 

General Chemistry 1

General Chemistry 1 is a highly interactive and engaging course that cover all topics typical of first semester General Chemistry. The courseware includes a multitude of formative practice problems that scaffold students through the learning of concepts while providing detailed and targeted feedback to student answers. Also included are: interactives such as PhET simulations and virtual lab experiments, engaging media elements, and summative assessments.

 

General Chemistry 2
